The two developers of the IQ test, Lewis Terman and Leta Hollingworth had two different definitions of the IQ a genius must possess:
Lewis Terman claimed a person is considered a genius if his/her IQ score is 140 or more, and Leta Hollingworth claimed it must be 180 or more.
Today an IQ score of 140 or more is considered to indicate that the tested person is a genius.
