The ones in my garden love Basil (which I plant for them ... desert) and Hostas (which I don't plant for them ... main course).

I have noticed that they pay no attention to the Morning Glory... sad and true.

Many slug species eat dead or decaying fungus, leaves, and vegetables. Others eat other slugs, worms, or snails. Carnivorous slugs usually also eat dead of their own species.

I hope they do not use slat on their food.

    My own plants, durn critters...........

    All my vegetables.

Just about anything green-- We put slug pellets out, it stops them.  Our garden is not being attacked so far this year.  I used  to go out at night with a paper bag and a flashlight and catch them in the act,

I spoke too soon, last night I went out and I think a few of the critters got away, they laid little eggs all over the place.  I picked out as many as possible.. Then I turned the soil a bit and water lightly again and many more appeared.  I picked 'em out one by one.. Turning the soil and lightly watering washes the dirt off of them so you can see them.  Thanks god i don't have a really big garden..

Nope, I will not go there, I don't care what kind of fancy name you give them 'escargot' they remain snails in my vocabulary, and not in my sandwich- Looks like donkey snot!!
