I know gee take the joke, why does everyone have to analize an answer ???? lol..

You would think if someone actually posted this would have sort medical advice rather than post it on a Q and A site ???

Umbi if your knee was dore where would you be sitting infront of the computer or at the hospital or GP? ..

Its not hard to make an appointment...?
Its not like they are going to check her prostate now is it? whats to fear ? its probably fluid thats needed draining and its been getting worse. If that was me personally I would ask my GP.
    lindilou

This is hilarious wonder !!! Now I see whatcha mean....but alas the dreaded Umbriel has been ousted...however I think this is the first time I ever read his stuff and it wasn't full of...sexual innuendo...so to speak !! LOL

Depending on your age.  If you are over 50, probably worn out meniscus and your knee may need replacement. You need to get an MRI to see if this is the problem. as we age, the cartilage gets worn out, there's several 'non-proven' remedies you can try, 'Glucosimine' is sold for worn out joints, sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't, there's no facts supporting this.   I had success with it but it was temporary. If you try this drug, don't over do it because it goes to ALL your joints, not only the bad one, this in turn makes all your joints hurt, they are getting an overdose.  The body when young makes this cartilage but as we get older it slows down.

If you're young, they call it a 'sports injury' - Very painful but usually cures itself in time, unless you have torn a ligament and this will need surgery to reattach it.

The most important thing is go see a doctor if its chronic pain, We can only give suggestions  based on our own experience.  We are not doctors.   Good luck!

That said, I really feel stupid answering these year old posts.  Can we keep it current?

No. We can't keep it current. We are trying to clear them out. So, get with the program Vinny and help us! :)
    FISH-O

Get with the program Vinny... there seems to be a glitch in the system.
How on the planet could three thousand questions be asked in one single month without receiving an answer?

    I'm helping..

It means that something is wrong with your knee and that you should see a doctor who will diagnose your problem and prescribe you something to take some of the pain away (I'm assuming....).....

    Stop kneeling and lunging.

Consider yourself lucky that you're not a race horse.

    ya think ?

It means that the horse you were riding when you were 13 reached back and grabbed you by the knee firmly with its massive teeth and tossed you high into the delicate prairie breeze where you proceeded to fly...fly and fly some more before landing quite inelegantly on your back...laying there wondering why heaven is filled with so much pain 'til you realize yer not dead but rather alive and suffering a crushed knee...that is...if and only if you are me...which you are not obviously. So go see a doctor for that knee thing like yesterday...or 11 months ago...whichever came first. Peace.

Either Arthritis, or Tanya Harding has visited you with a baseball bat, and whacked you in them!

    millie111

Could be anything!...But you need to see GP...POSSIBLE Xrays n blood test required...possibly your GP might ref you to a physiotherapist...Go CHECK IT OUT!!!
    bustieone

could also be Lyme Disease, blood work will check for that...
    lindilou

    ...that Tanya !!! lol

Even if we were Dr. which were not, would need more imformation on your condition and what your allurgic to med. also your age , and did you have this for long or was it an accident ext.

arthritis, or it's cousin, bursitis. It has another cousin called tendonitis. Knee pain is a bi- -h .
