I thought life was.....hard,but not this hard.

I thought life was supposed to turn out better than it has! But before anybody replies telling me to count my blessings and all that jazz...believe me I am grateful to be alive BUT I still thought it would turn out better!!!...(:

Exactly what it is. No surprises for me.

I thought life was going to be a little more fulfilling, enjoyable, exciting, successful and less fragile than it has been thus far.  Most of that is up to me to actualize, though. There is still some time to experience happiness and share a sincere and lasting love. 

I thought life would be TOTALLY over when I turned thirty. The grim reaper would come for me.  (Itsmee's belief at age 15)

I thought life........ was meant to be hard, and how bloody right i was

.....easier, as it progressed.....being retired, no more going to work, doing only what I want to do each day.....nope.....it also includes having more people in my life to worry about and I don't like that part....marriages ending, friends dying, young people going down the wrong path, etc.  It's all part of life though, and the realization that others are dealing with much more difficulty in their lives than I am, makes me thankful.

...was going by slowly, until I realized how real quick it passes us by!!   And we surely cannot turn back the pages of time!
