You can not delete just a portion of chat history after a certain time period You can only delete all Skype history in order to remove the text if it has been posted for too long. You can delete what you wrote recently by right clicking next to your text and clicking "remove message". There is a time limit for this function however. If the room you are using is a group room and you created the room, then you can selectively delete any messages by doing the same as I already listed. Again, there is a time limit for message removal.
