    how to smoke trout fish

    We smoke fresh trout in our smoker with would that has been soaked in all sorts of flavours but we let the trout soak in salt water for 5 hrs or so then rince of and the coat over honey every one says its the best trout they have tasted one of our lacal resturants wanted us to supply it to them but too much hassel we do it just to enjoy has my husband says he made the fly to catch the trout and then we eat the trout !

    Gee dunno bet it will be hard to get them in those tiny little cigeratte papers though huh?

    Tried it several times with my smoker, found that trout is better over coals-direct heat. It does turn out well cooking over coals from apple, cherry woods.Smoking is different than over coals.

    Its not easy wrapping them in paper and then they are impossible to light. lol
