Some Men have a problem with commitment, They are not capable to totally commit to one person.  That is why it is important to get to know someone first before you fall in love.

Why do you think this is a one sided gender-typed deal?  I think it goes both ways.

because their insecure in their own heart,, so they need to prey on others, woman as welll as men.

I think some men do just to see if they can.  Ego.  I had a good friend tormented by a man who did just that.  It really wasn't fair.

I also knew a man many years ago that did that for sport almost... well is seemed that way.  It was actually surprising the type of woman he ended up marrying.  It was a, "Who would have thought?" moment for a lot of people...curious
