When someone dies without a leaving a will, he's said to die intestate. When this happens, there's a period whereby the state allows the next of kin of the deceased to claim the assets of the deceased. If no one comes forth, then the state will ultimately take over said assets. Therefore, if you know any one who may be related to this person, I'd suggest that you inform him immediately.
