The Cane toad does have poison glands on its body. Which is why once introduced to an area where they are not normally from become an invasive species. They have no natural predators in the areas they invade.....If they are handled use warm water and soap and be very careful not to touch any openings on your body. (Eyes nose mouth or open sores) If you have any hand sanitizer use this after washing to prevent diseases.
