            It would be better to feed him fresh meat,etc.That yucky turtle food is no good.And B T W , Snapping turtles do NOT make good pets.

              Feeding a turtle meat is a very good way of getting salmonella poisoning. Turtles don't digest mammal flesh properly. They eat fish, preferably live feeder goldfish.

              ok.They eat frogs,birds, baby weasels, otters, and anything they can get their claws on . Where have you been lately, Fishy ?

              Snapping turtles are mean... I have owned two in this short lifetime and many red eared sliders... all rescues :)

              Working, refinishing, refurbishing and volunteering. I have a wonderful seven year old that occupies every waking moment, an amazing husband that does as well and... my Mom moved in. My days are very full. You sound very good by your writing. I am happy for you.... Merry Christmas! I do hope 2017 brings great joy and health for you. Lots and lots of love surrounding you as well.

              I can't post pictures of fish any longer... my new and improved computer does not allow it.... dang! If I could, I would post a very cute Panda Corydora catfish just for you. They are adorable and optimistic. That lovely fish is fitting for you.

              Here is a kick... part of my volunteering involves aquarium keeping. It is a very big smile.
