Can't see the tree for the forest.....
I have had this experience. The tree was in my yard for so long that I named it Walter. Walter did a lot of damage... in the end the only thing that I could do is get my Insurance Company involved. That was three years ago. Just a few months ago another tree from this property fell into another neighbour's property... it's still there and they haven't named it.

Walter has been the fuel to many fires now, Dennis. We only have a small-ish pile of Walter-wood left, 2 1/2 years later :(
