Umbriel, I think you'll find you're talking about Argentina 1978,I was fortunate enough to be there at the time,one of the most memorable holidays in my lifetime (shame about the football).
Umbriel.the "Facts in 1974.Scotland went out without losing a game ,and Britain's only team to qualify .They were eliminated in the first round .They beat Zaire 2-0 0-0 draw with Brazil ,and a 1-1 draw with Yugoslavia.Now 1978 Scotland played very badly under Idiot of a manager Who thought he was the Messiah !! Mind you the fans were convinced he was.
