RE; Voting down an answer.....I'm sure I don't want that happening to me either, but I can't realistically expect everyone to agree with me all the time.  I would hope someone would take a minute to comment on what is disagreeable rather than vote down the answer.  That way, an intelligent conversation could start and a clearer understanding of the answer and the people who are affected by it is possible.

Again, there is an old saying:  "If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all."  Perhaps if there is an answer we don't like, we should just pass it by and not draw attention to it with comments or vote-downs.
