Here is a list of Texas Ghost Towns>http://www.ghosttowns.com/states/tx/tx.html

I was convinced the house I grew up in was haunted... I think it still is... I wish my Mother would move.  That house creeps me out.

Does your Mom feel the same presence as well?

My Mother does see dead people. Most of the time it doesn't bother her. The last one was pretty brutal though.

Some spirits can be sweet and others not so much. Glad that they don't bother her. I remember a time that I scared a spirit. I felt so awful about it and it still bothers me to date.

My Mother said the same thing about the last one she saw witchway. It was the one and only time she screamed. She regretted screaming immediately.

I am with you Dennis. I ask them not to come. My dreams are strange enough and a lot of work to figure out. :)

The shopping precinct in my town is becoming just like a ghost town, so many businesses closing and people moving out from the area.

Sounds A bit like Graggy Irland Ted,

I lived in a house that was haunted. It's in the same zip code I'm in now..........

No ghosts but lots of spirits  !!""

I live in new England and ghosts are EVERYWHERE! Gets a little crowded at times.

No real ghost towns around her of which I'm aware, but in some of the smaller cities/towns, the streets "roll up" at sundown.  In Kingsburg the other afternoon, there was a dead cockroach the size of a mouse laying on the sidewalk. I was told they run rampant when night falls, in spite of the fumigation attempts.

Kingsburg, a bit south of Fresno, at the Tulare County line (I think half is in Fresno and the other half in Tulare County).
These were the 6-legged kind. :D

In Spain there are a number of abandoned villages, sometimes the churches are preserved but the houses are dteriorating and going back to nature. It is sad to see, but nobody wants to live in these places anymore.
