    Instructions


    1 Hover your mouse over the wireless icon on your taskbar to display the WiFi network name. The icon is usually near the lower right corner of your screen and may resemble a set of bars showing signal strength or two small computers.


    2 Click the wireless icon to display a list of WiFi networks within range of your computer.


    3 Open your "Network Status" box to view your WiFi network name if the wireless icon is not visible. Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "View Network Status and Tasks" (or a similarly worded option) to display a schematic of your WiFi network and the network name.
