      WW2 began when Hitler invaded Poland on Sept-1 (1939)  and ended  after the Japanese surrender on Sept-2 (1945)

          I am a WW2 history buff, I find the politics, strategies and the people's 'homeland' involvement be it axis or allied countries very interesting. Too bad so many people had to die to get 'temporary' civility back.. There's no such thing as a good war but it unfortunately takes a war to pull people together from time to time. I wish it weren't true but there will never be that perfect utopia, we will always have wars..
