    I have been wondering: Why is it so humid were I live in NW Newbrunswick were we are almost 500 KM away from the ocean and when we travel to Cuba the heat is dry and they are surrounded by the ocean, I always thought that it would be the opposite.

    The humidity is likely the result of being surrounded by lakes, rivers and streams in NW New Brunswick... and then you are surrounded by the Atlantic on three sides.
