I've already answered your spam question. I do not know why your home page doesn't have color. If you need a bigger font you can hold down Control key and hit the + key until it is bigger.

One thing at a time: Spam comes from signing up for things on the web.Every time you enter your address it becomes available to those who send spam. Stop signing up for things . I have the option of SWEEPING my mail it blocks them from ever sending again .There is a domain blocking as well this only is good if they are useing other than mainstream  mails . You dont want to block all mails from yahoo for example. You can delete all these mails then look for the empty option and get rid of them all at once . EMPTY really works so be sure thats what you wish to do . They are gone for good with empty .In your settings is your font control find your way there and reset it. Hint : dont go if you dont know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All these home pages have a way to customize them ,with out knowing your O/S its impossible to say . I  think you should buy a hour of instruction from a computer guy or gal and get these things done . Good news is none of these things are serious and can be fixed quickly.In regards to spam Go on google and type ebola monkey man.com try also 419 scambaiters .com also Scam of the day .com Those will keep you busy for months and educate you as well . At the moment I dont belive you have a clue about how bad scam and spam are  but you will after this little journey.
