Why would I be against marriage? I am married.

not a good question for this happy divorcee!

just the roman catholic pope and their clergy, why celibacy it's a self imposed restriction, we can see how well that worked out.

I've been married twice,both ending in divorce. I have now been with my partner since 1989. We are not married and we're happy.

Our two daughters familes will be celebrating our 50th this weekend. We are happier than ever.

I'm not against it but it just doesn't work . I got married to the first one because i wanted to be with her forever but she didn't see it that way , so did it again and again that one didn't see it that way either so whats the point of getting married but just to pay a lawyer to divorce you .

Some few people have a problem with gay / lesbian getting  "married " . They think the married name belongs to only a man and woman relationship. Society needs to get use to this . Because it will never go away. If two people of same sex want to live together as partners more power to them.

Sure, there are millions of people who are against marriage.  I don't happen to be one of them. 

Married and supporting marriage

There has never been anything wrong with marriage. More people should get married, after they get a clue of what marriage is.
