a never ending cough is a symptom of copd a serious lung disease. Best to see a doctor ,then start investigating causes like environmental . See where you feel better or where the air is cleaner . Do a cause and affect research. Sometimes perfumes can cause the coughing or dust in the air . I have COPD and when the dust blows here I am in breathing trouble and coughing a lot. If I sit by a woman on the bus with a woman wearing that cheap walmart perfume I am in big trouble coughing . If you try one of those low dose inhailors and it gets better then there is your answer
