Comfortable footwear

Where can my mother purchase comfortable footwear. The soles on wide-fitting shoes are so hard and are not very flexible and springy. Where are the type of soles that you used to get?

The Chemist or Pharmacies I find the shoes they sell are very comfortable. I have bought 2 from them in the last 10 years and they are still comfortable and very snugly. It also depends on how much you want to spend. The shoes they sell aren't cheap but they definitely last for years. For me it's worth the penny. Oh it also depends on how you walk too (if you drag your feet while walking) it helps if you want your shoes to last longer.

The best shoe I have found is a namebrand NURTURE.

Ive Just remembered that Fit Flop do a winter range as well ,I buy mine from Jake in Manchester but I have seen them on the Internet ,in fact I believe Jake have a web site.

If its for the summer and your mum can wear toe posts then FIT -FLOPS are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn, like walking on air .

I agree with papermoon; both I and my spouse have trouble with our feet. I discovered FIT-FLOPS on and they are a God-send...instantly relieves all the pressure points on the soles of your feet plus helps with any back problems. They now make boots and sneakers as well as sandals. A bit pricey but well worth it.

    hush puppies and clarks

I like SAS, they have a wide and high toe box. I bought mine in 1997 and I still wear them.

i just purchased shape ups from famous footwear, spendy, but worth every nickle
