I think , as child, if you are not accepted for who you truly are, you will become insecure and have a hard time to love yourself. That in turn makes it hard for that child when he grows up to trust or love someone else..The statement that no one will love you is a hurtful statement and not true.

Sounds like you have low self esteem,just remember you are as good as anyone else,start thinking positive thoughts about yourself and have a positive outlook,and you will feel the changes for the better.
