Is there redemption after knowing and walking with God only to turn your back and run from Him?

Of course there is Jenn. It's a common thing for most of us to ride the rollercoaster. He just's waiting for you to come back, read the story of the prodical's son. I myself have been away from church for a while and went back resently, it was such a great experience to be back to my home church. God is much more forgiving than people are.

Forgive yourself, it's only natural for us to run away from God sometimes. You don't have to go to church, it's just good to have that fellowship.

I am not Christian as you know but I am your friend. So because of that and the fact I care about you, I want to say my thing if you don't mind.
God (IT) never turns from you. When you're ready, you will turn back around again. IT is patient and will wait for you. IT will love you always and will be there when you're ready.

You know I'm no christian but I can say if you get some comfort in going that way go for it.Just don't get depressed.As I understand it redemption is up to you,all you need to do is ask.So cheer up pal,there is hope for you yet!

I revoked my beliefs and denials because I knew that my childish and pretentious beliefs and denials were fabricated out of all things ancient and old. Like clearing out the attic and cellar those things did not belong in my relationship with God. I would not have fables and nursery rhymes dictate my passage through the years of my life when a real relationship with God is within and is real. God is not a dictator. God does not punish anyone who seeks to know and understand. God sent a very wise teacher to abide within you who teaches in his or her own way…there for you to learn and acquire skills and experiences as you are ready to receive them.

Yes,I think so,frustration and anger,makes turning your back easy,but God is a loving God and is so forgiving,in my eyes if someone is truly a child of God they only take small breathers at times but never really "Walk Away".I know there are times in life I am so stressed out and hurt I forget to give it all to him,and then I remind myself,that I just cant handle it all,Jesus can you hold my hand and walk me through this? It's then only when I can take a deep breath and go to sleep at night.Hope this helps.:/

To Jenn! I know it's a little to late for comment,better late than never, I can see that you are having trouble in your life,no matter what anyone say,it wont take the pain away,but you said that you feel unworthy and don't deserve forgiveness. You know it true none of us deserve forgiveness,God gave us a free gift! if we haft to earn it than it wouldn't be free.Hope to be one of your friend.LOL.
