Sounds like a good question for law students in your own state. Contact the local bar and get the real scoop from them for your situation.
As a historian, I look at documents and try to place them in context by getting as many primary documents as I can find concerning any specific thing. The problem with bibles as we know them today, is that they are not primary documents. The original documents were written in old languages. If I was a Christian, I would learn those written languages and analyze the primary documents where they could be found. With those two issues at hand, the answer is no - unless you take into consideration who the documents were written for, when they were written, and why they were written. Too often, people grab things out of today's bibles and have no idea the context in which they were written, and try to prove points with the quotes. My specialty is the history of science and technology. If I take a dim view of single entries in any primary or secondary document without searching for more, that is the reason. The biblical events are great starting points for discovery, but I want to know a lot more about each story before I take anything as fact.
The best drummer of all time would be Buddy Rich. At one time, B.R. held the Guinness Book record for fastest drummer. Ed Shaunasey (Not sure of his spelling) was the best drummer on television (Tonight Show Band) but the best drummer of all time in a rock band? Not sure because there have been several very good ones who are still working today. But they are not getting the credit they deserve because they do their jobs without trying to take center stage (pardon the pun). But if I had to point my finger at one guy, I'd say it is the drummer for... nope, can't do it.
It really depends on how far back you need to go. As a historian myself, I have found valuable records in the British Archives in London to as far back as the 15th century. My specialty is the history of science and technology, but that includes things like shipping, the Columbus Exchange, and the Royal Society of London. Again, how far back do you want to go and are you looking for one individual or a ship or the construction of the docks, wars? Etc. What exactly are you looking for and then I might be able to send you the link to where you need to go. I am also going back there this Summer to work on WWII research, so I could keep my eyes open then too, but I would need additional information as to what you are looking for.
Yes, but within gradients. For example, a "chem seven" answers some things, like potassium levels, but will not answer other things. "Chem 14" and "Chem 21" are the most conclusive, but cost more money and time to do. They also provide a lot more information, that may or may not be needed. Additionally, those results are given in ranges of normal or abnormal and vary depending on the individual. So what might be normal for one person would be abnormally high for another, or vice versa. You best bet is to make sure you keep copies of all lab results and bring them with you to any new doctor you visit so he or she can see how you trend over time. That way, if something suddenly spikes, he can order the correct follow-up test to correspond with that spike.
No where according to Socrates.
Are there really ever any new ideas? And if there were, would we accept them, or place the person making them under a doctor's care? I don't think there is original thought, just new ways of reconfiguring old ideas in new and meaningful ways.
Other life forms or intelligent extraterrestrial life forms? Dr. Carl Sagan quoted a formula about the odds of life in his popular show, "Cosmos." He did not invent the formula, but used it to show his point. Admittedly, based on some assumptions, he came up with millions and billions of planets with life, or just one - ours. If somewhere between the two is the ultimate correct answer, then the answer to your question is there is a 100% chance that life exists elsewhere in the universe.
I have a Mac, but use PC programs on it. Is there any advantage to actually buying a PC?
- According to the 1980's book "The Sampson Option," if Israel is attacked and it appears the country will fall, they will send nuclear weapons to destroy as much of Russia as they can because Russia would then shoot off their nukes at either the USA or China or both which then would start and end WWIII. If the authors of the book are correct, then the USA should support Israel or risk WWIII and our own destruction.
- Israel is the home of some of the most import religious artifacts, which need to be preserved and available for all time. That in itself gives good reason to support Israel.
- Israel has been willing to go where no one in the USA can. For example, The first Israeli in space, who died with our astronauts, was a hero before he became an astronaut. He led a strike force in the 1980s to take out the nuclear plant in Iraq which would have been used for the production of nuclear weapons. The Israeli's also took out the terrorists who killed the Olympic Village athletes. The Israeli's are willing to sanction and kill their, and our, enemies.
