Coco: I can understand your pain. But may I add that more widespread than one religion being intolerant towards another, is the intolerance shown by believers towards Skeptics, Atheists, Agnostics, et al.

I think both Italy and Germany are on the right track, as is China. Seven billion is more than enough. Unfortunately, the birth rate is increasing as we speak and more and more babies are surviving in Africa, China and India.

I certainly believe in being honest with your boyfriend, but not necessarily right away. In situations like this, perhaps it's better to wait and see... You might find that the new guy is a dud, so why create a problem with boyfriend ahead of time?

Why insist that a couple love each other? The heterosexual divorce rate is above 50-percent, whether love is present or not. And how does one define the word Love? Presumably, the divorce rate in homosexual and lesbian marriages is at a very low percentage. For me, marriage is all about the love and welfare of children. If kids are not involved, then the only apparent advantage for gay couples to marry is tax relief.

Depending on the seriousness of my ailment, I would certainly consider filing a lawsuit.
