Answers: 2 Views: 444 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago

Do you mean

4% of x =28

Then, here is a solution to your problem.

i.e. 4/100 * x = 28

i.e. x = 28 * 100/4

i.e. x = 7 * 100

So, x =700

Answers: 4 Views: 507 Rating: 1 Posted: 12 years ago

The general form to calculate the triangle is:

square root of (s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))

where, "s" is the semi-perimeter of the triangle = (a+b+c)/2

and a,b and c are the sides of a given triangle.

Other areas for special triangles are generalized form of this form.

8y + 6 = 6y
Answers: 2 Views: 602 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago

8y + 6 = 6y

or, 2y +6=0 [ subtracting 6y from both sides]

or, 2y = -6 [ subtracting 6 on both sides]

so, y = -3 [ dividing both sides by 2]

Hope this helped you to some extent.
