Answers: 1 Views: 496 Rating: 0 Posted: 11 years ago

The length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle can be found using the Pythagorean theorem. The Pythagorean theorem: the square of the length of the hypotenuse equals the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides. For instance the length of the hypotenuse in the right triangle below can be calculated as follows: h equals the square root of (C1+ C22).

simplify the difference quotient for the function (x) = 2x - 1
Answers: 1 Views: 484 Rating: 0 Posted: 11 years ago

Simplification of the difference quotient for the function f(x) = 2x - 1:
Calculation of f(x+h): f(x+h) = 2(x+h) + 1 = 2x + 2h +1.
Substitution of f(x + h) and f(x) in the definition of the difference quotient by their expressions:
[ f (x + h) – f(x) ] / h = [2x  + 2h + 1 - (2x - 1)] / h. Now you need to finish the rest of the calculation, and that's it.

what is the impedance if i connect two 8 ohm speakers together
Answers: 2 Views: 570 Rating: 1 Posted: 11 years ago

According to imformation posted on the internet, impedance is calculated as follows:
1 / [(1/I3) + (1/I2) + (1/I3) + ...]
'I' repressents the impedance of individual speakers. In your case, the calculation is
1 / [(1/8) + (1/8)] = 4.
Another way to calculate impedance if the loads are eight or four ohms is as follows:
impedance = 8 / n. n is the number of 8 ohm speakers plus twice the number of 4 ohm speakers.
