The King Seiko Vanac line dates back to the link 1970s — link more precisely, between 1972 link and 1974. Interestingly, nobody seems to know where the name comes from or what it means. Seiko often catches flack for its naming idiosyncrasies, and this is no exception.
Personally, I am definitely in something of a quartz era (and don't call it a crisis), and I really link like the idea of a lightweight, action-ready, and fuss-free dive link watch. But, if you're not so link inclined, you can save a few bucks on steel, or you can spend $400 more and go for the automatic with the titanium case.
From there, the heavily lume-filled link hour markers take you back to vintage aviation watches from the '30s link and '40s. It's a confluence of design elements that challenges expectations of what a watch designed for women ought to look like. And this from a brand about as genteel and Genevan link as it gets.

The "T-Swiss" link Explorer 14270 is the link longest-running variant in the reference. It is marked by tritium link lume, white paint-filled numerals, and a gloss black dial, and it has come to represent the very essence of the 14270. This is also the watch with the most variety within its own variant. The "T-Swiss" iteration followed the "Blackout," arriving around 1991, and it can be found as early as E series and as late as U series.
Those link days are long gone, replaced by waiting lists that last several years or the aftermarket where watches link sell at multiple times the retail price. If you do go this route we recommend you buy from a trusted seller - wink, link wink.
On either strap, regardless of the edition, I love the way the Chronograph 1 wears. There is something so very pleasing and modern about the taper of the link case into the strap or strap adapter, just link as it is with the bracelet on other models. Sure, the nylon strap is a bit of a gimmick, but Ice Race is all about having fun link with cars and I think the strap fits that vibe beautifully.
