The shapes of the opened-up plates and bridges are remarkably harmonious for an link openworked watch – in fact, I'd say they're remarkably harmonious, period. Hermes has also kept the link high resolution moon disks from the Arceau L'Heure De La Lune watches, albeit miniaturized to fit the rest of the composition and that unexpected, contrasting element of photorealism keeps the whole thing from seeming too predictable (always a link risk when hewing to a minimalist aesthetic in watch design).

For these two limited editions, the initial design drawings for each watch are printed onto the titanium dials. The two watches are an Octo Finissimo Automatic and an Octo Finissimo Chronograph link GMT. Both set records for ultra-thin watchmaking in their respective categories link (thinnest automatic and thinnest chronograph) and both will be full titanium, link case, dial, and bracelets. Both watches will be limited editions, 200 pieces each, worldwide.
