        Paradoxically the best of these band watches seem to exist at the lower end of the link market not trying to make too much link of themselves. They're trinkets that are more memorabilia than self-serious timepieces. They're also the ones that try to adapt a bit more to the link form of something worn around the wrist and used to tell the time.
