How can i increase my weight ?
Answers: 9 Views: 2248 Rating: 0 Posted: 11 years ago

To gain weight, you need to eat more calories every day compared to you burn with exercise. You can also gain weight by increasing size of your muscles. Start with a caloric calculator to determine the number of energy you you'll need to consume every single day to gain weight. You'll probably have to increase your calorie intake, and you can do this by eating a larger volume of meals or by choosing foods which are energy-dense (high in calories).

1. Regular Sleep & Wake Schedule
2. Soothing Bedtime Routine
3. Eat correctly Before Bedtime - Finish eating a minimum of 2-3 hours before your family bedtime. Eating or drinking an excessive amount of may make you less comfortable when settling down for bed.
4. Get some exercise regularly - Exercise regularly. It is advisable to complete your workout a minimum of a few hours before bedtime. Generally, exercising regularly makes it easier to go to sleep and contributes to sounder sleep.
5. Avoid Caffeine - Avoid caffeine (e.g. coffee, tea, sodas, chocolate) close to bedtime. It may keep you awake. Caffeine is really a stimulant, which means it may produce an alerting effect.
6. Say 'NO' to Nicotine! - Avoid nicotine (e.g. cigarettes, cigarettes and tobacco products). Used close to bedtime, it can result in poor sleep. Nicotine is another stimulant. Smoking before going to sleep makes it more difficult to go to sleep.
7. Hold Off around the Alcohol - Avoid alcohol near to bedtime. Although many people consider alcohol as a sedative, it really disrupts sleep, causing nighttime awakenings. Consuming alcohol results in a night of less restful sleep.

Hope these pointers help some people!

exercises for asthma
Answers: 4 Views: 584 Rating: 2 Posted: 12 years ago

Exercise induced asthma is actually asthma during physical workout. A doctor will ask the patient to run on the treadmill for 8 minutes and perform a spirometry after that to check for 15% reduction in lung function. EIA symptoms basically are coughing after a few minutes from workout, then keep coughing non stop after workout, feel breathless for extended peroids of time, chest tightness, unusual fatigue, wheezing..

I'm not sure about the place you are trying to find however i know about exercise induced asthma since i am an asthmatic myself..

I have to use my salbutamol inhaler 10 -15 minutes prior to the start of an activity..

I have headaches only on the left side of my head
Answers: 4 Views: 963 Rating: 0 Posted: 10 years ago

Your headache is caused by tight neck muscles and it is the reason why you would have it on only one side of your head, the muscles with that side are tight. The neck muscles visit the top of your head where they connect with muscles going around your head. Once the neck muscles get tight they pull the top muscles into pain and that is your headache.

Your other problems will disappear along with the headache and here's how you can free up your neck muscles to eliminate the headache:

Neck Release:

Put your hands behind your head touching your fingers. Press in to the back of your neck together and hold the pressure in it. After 45 seconds slowly decrease your head until your neck is fully extended. Release pressure but hold your head there for an additional 30 seconds.

For best results relax the body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
