If you are really doing God's will, he will tell you through his spirit about heaven or earth.
Jesus was put on a stake.
The Imperial Bible -Dictionary says :"The Greek word for cross, (stauros), properly signified a stake, an upright pole, or peace of paling, on which might be used in impaling anything might be hung., or which might be used in impaling a peace of ground.... Even amongst the Romans the crux (from which our cross is derived) appears to have been originally an upright pole."
History of the Christian Church says: "There (first Christians) was no use of the crucifix and no material representation of the cross."
Fictitious narrative used to point a moral or illustrate some spiritual relation or condition; short allegorie. Jesus Christ used many parables to teach people.
Bible -Definition: "God's written word to humankind. e used some 40 human secretaries over a period of 16 centuries to record it, but God himself directed the writing by his spirit.
Bible: Sacred book of Christianity; edition or copy of this, sacred book. - Oxford-Dictionary.
The Holy Scriptures: "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." -Genesis 2:7.
The Bible helps us to understand what the soul is. This text does not say that man (Adam) was given a soul but that he became a soul, a living Adam.
"And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Jesus) was made a quickening spirit." - 1Corinthians 15: 45. So the NT agree with the AT as to what the soul is; a living person or a living animal.
To many persons and religions , however,"soul" means th immaterial or spirit part of a human being that survives the death of the physical body. But this is not a Bible teaching.
A Jewish Encyclopedia reads: "The belief that the soul continues its existence after the dissolution of the body is a matter of philosophial or theological speculation rather than of simple faith, and is accordingly nowhere expressly taught in Holy Scripture."
Ezekiel 18:4 says the the human soul can die.
This is what I know about soul from the Holy Scriptures, and what we Christians beliefe.
