Personally I would say the speed of thought..as I can think or multiple things or ideas (whatever) in a millesecond...Don't really know the comparison between the two

by the time you have thought about how fast light travels, some green dude on another planet is wondering where the light came from. :-)

Don't bother Grit, he's just secretly sending a message to his buddy George ; )

maybe thats why people are smarter at a distance
may be thats why people appear smarter from a distance
I don't know how you measure the 'speed of thought'.. Speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. faster then we can even think it.. (pun intended) I just don't know how you can measure thought speed when its always in your head.

I don't think this question has an answer..
I would have to say the speed of thought because too many of us and I include myself in this say things out loud before we think first......
Thats a heck of a question, I would like to ask the woman in Parade Magazine, Ask Maryln section . It would be interesting to see what she would say about the question you asked.

    speed of thought

well thought is composed of electricity, which I assume travels at the speed of light. I can therefore assume that thought is a tad slower because of processing time.
