If you are taking medications they MAY be the cause.
If this continues you may want to consider seeing a physician.
Are you taking prenatal vitamins? If so, this may be cause of your urine turning green. Check with your doctor to be safe.
Green is an unusual color for urine, but it's most commonly caused by food dyes. It can also be caused by eating asparagus. Medications that cause it include amitriptyline (Elavil and Endep) and doxorubicin (a cancer chemo drug). Also, if you have a bladder kidney, or prostate infection, the pus can cause a green tint. If you're having symptoms like pain, fever, and nausea, you should see a doctor. Otherwise, no need to worry!
Possibly that your father was from another planet, probably Mars or Vulcan. Were you adopted? Lol.

LMAO, Thanks for that one carm.
Infection of the urinary tract, problems with bile and intake of certain drugs may be the prime green urine causes. If the color of your urine is bright green in color, it may be due to excess intake of vitamin B. Consumption of foods like asparagus may cause urine to become green and in such a case, urine would give out a characteristic odor. Moreover, there are a number of medicines like amitriptyline, doxorubicin and indomethacin that may cause green urine. In some rare cases urine may be green due to Familial hypercalcemia, which is a rare kind of hereditary disease wherein the body releases high levels of calcium. In children urine, may turn green if there is excess consumption of food which is green in color.

    lol.
Agree with the above, but I seem to remember that King George IV of England had porphyria which caused green urine.
What does it mean? It means you talk to a doctor not a bunch of bored AKAQ&A members. I did notthumbs up any answers as I do not feel we should answer medical problems of this type.

Give the members some recognition at least, you might not want to give medical advice, but others have the choice to do so.After all they have took the time to aknowledge the question.

You are certainly entitled to give advice but from my point of view a trained professional medical person would be hard pressed to diagnose a medical problem on the information normally received here.

The worrying part is that someone, well meaning as they may well be, give a suggestion that delayed the asker going to a medico.

But as I said you are you and if you have a different slant on this that is fine. Be a funny old world if we all thought the same about everything.
    Cheers.
