    how do I find a good veternarian who does not charge too much

    Had my minature daschund's regular physical done. She did more
    tests and vaccines than she discussed with me. The bill was $356.00

    Your Vet needs to tell you in advance what kind of tests and vaccsinations your dog needs, if he does not, you need to ask him before he does anything.If it is bloodwork or urynalisis, always ask for a copy of results.
    Talk with other local pet owners. They are usually very good with sharing that kind of information.

    Good vets with reasonable rates usually have reputations that precede them amongst people who love animals.

    If you contact pet rescue people or associations they usually offer free pet care to those who need it or you can make a donation to them. The Humane society sometimes offers discounted pet operations and medical treatment. Hope this helps.
