    why does my hp printer continue to say replace empty ink cartilage when i put a new one in

    hp c7250 how can i fix it

    Did you remove the tape from the end that the ink comes out of? Is the cartridge seated correctly in the carriage?
    Sometimes the only solution is to unplug the printer from the electricity and plug it back in again. Try it, it won't hurt anything.
    Did you go into the HP printer program and tell it you installed a new cartridge?
    these do not have tape on them and i am sure it is seated correctly

    Hmm, I don't think I've ever heard of an ink cartridge with no protective tape. Well, actually I guess now I have since yours do not. I've always known HP to put tape on the end.
