Yes. Your kids are correct. Sodas cause bone loss which is something you do not need, especially at your age.
Also, the appears to be a link between soda intake and bladder cancer. Crystal Light is junk just like the sodas.
Read the ingredients in the bottles you are tipping. If you don's know what each one is or cannot pronounce them they are not good for you.
What about trying some iced tea with lemon or something else.
There are always juices that are good if they do not have added sugars.
Oh, one more brilliant thought. What about water?
