that former president, Lyndon Johnson used to hold meetings in his bathroom, when he was on the toilet. and I don't mean phone-type conference calls.
Also, about Lyndon Johnson. They used to say that he used to thank people for their thank you notes.
He used to pick up his Beagle by the ears for the photographers. That makes me mad to this day !!
AFter his surgery on his abdoman, he pulled up his shirts, loosened his pants a little to show the photographers a very long, non pretty vertical scar on his abdoman.The pic appeared in LOOK Magazine and LIfe Magazine.
He was pretty gross.

Woodrow Wilso was the 1st president to go to Europe to discuss the world situation with leaders over there. He went there right after the end of the first world war. He was also the 1st president to have an audience with the pope......Pope Benedict the 1st.

This is pretty vague,  but I remember a presidential son getting a routine foot blister and wound up dying from it as it got severely infected and  this was pre-antibiotics,--era.....what a shame.  He might have been someone who really changed history..........We will never know now...........
