How ar all the New South Wales State of Origin fans going?. Six on the trot for Queensland.
For the unintiated each year there is a series of rugby league football games (3 games) The teams that compete are Queensland and New South Wales and whilst some of the players may normaly play for a team in the other state this 3 game series they play for their "original" state hence State Of Origin. Queensland has won the last six years. Tonight they won 34 points to 22.

I have lived in Queensland since 1964 except for a two year spell in South Aus 1968-1970 where I worked for a Qld business.
As far as the footy was concerned it was a good match no biff and a fitting finale for Daren Lockyer.
New Souths` turn will come.
