Which play includes the quote ‘It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.’?

This is one of his most famous quotes but none of the sites that list them give the name of the plat from which they are taken.

    Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare

"Why, man, he doth bestride the narrow world Like a Colossus, and we petty men Walk under his huge legs and peep about To find ourselves dishonourable graves. Men at some time are masters of their fates: The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars to hold our destiny but in ourselfs. "

Many thanks, Stephh. I was 8 plays into a search, and he wrote a lot... and then there are the sonnets.

The reason why you can't find it is because you are misquoting. The line you are thinking of is indeed from "Julius Caesar," spoken by Cassius: "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, / But in ourselves, that we are underlings."

My mom loved Shakespeare and used to quote that passage and many others.
