    What do u NOT take on a cruise to Mexico? Is it like airlines' regulations?

    Evidentally it is the same as airlines:

    Packing Restrictions: There are certain items that cannot be packed in your checked luggage. This list, which is too long to print here, changes periodically, so it makes sense to check with DHS and TSA (the agency responsible for airport security).

    Going to Mexico today is not safe to say the least. A warning was just issued by the state department, to avoid Mexico do to threats of kidnapping Americans for ransom.
