    can you put dentures in straight after haveing ur teeth out

    had 6 front teeth taken out and my new dentures fitted 2 days later, but have been told this should not happen, please help me with this as my mouth is so sore at the mo

    I have heard they put them in right away so they adjust to your gums better. You poor thing, there are gels out there to relieve the soreness, go check with your pharmacist since it's a weekend.
    Then go back to your dentists and have him adjust the darn thing. It can be smoothed out to fit you better.

    I would suggest talking to your dentist about this because he is much more knowledgeable on the subject.
    I imagine they would be sore,i would take them out to relieve some of the discomfort and see the dentist ASAP or try another dentist for 2nd opinion.
    Doesn't seem right to me.
