A great percentage of gays lived the heterosexual life trying to conform to societies demands but eventually had to accept their homosexuality. This suggests that choice is not a factor for homosexuals as the choice to be heterosexual is not lasting.

Bi-sexuals remain bi-sexual their entire life.

There was once a French prime minister called Edith Cresson. She thought that English men were not paying her enough attention so she said that most were gay. The Brits thought is highly amusing but the French were mortified.

there are two theories, each accepted somewhat equally:
1.biological and genetic traits
2.social complexities

1)in other words some say they were born this way and there's nothing they could do, similar to if a person was born with a birth defect.
2)social scxience adheres to the school of thought that homo and bi sexuality begins after a child is born and the things the person experiences in life is what makes them gay.

90 percent of all gays first were bisexual before making the "strictly gay" transition. this suggests a sociological perspective.
