....French/ Greek, early 1700's

The case shape is very flat, with short lugs, a wide and flat bezel, and a flat sapphire crystal that sits in line with the edge of link the bezel. The controls are all set link on the three o'clock side. All three crown/pushers screw down, but you get 50m of water resistance with the crowns open (just in case). I find screw-down crown/pushers to be quite fiddly, so I'm fine with leaving them link open.

At this point my love of the "Jumbo" Extra-thin is pretty well-known. I'm quite ways off from ever affording one and yet I've made the foolish choice of voicing my interest to just about everyone who would listen. link To bide link my time I've spent a lot of time thinking about all the variations of Jumbos that AP has released over the last 51 years and what would sit at the top of the pantheon of link Jumbos that are themselves among the all-time great designs.
