    did foster care spoil your kids

    I got my kids back from foster care spoiled rotten, demanding material posessions and calling me names.

    They are wrecking my home and hitting me too. They want to go back to foster care. Any Ideas? I love them and fear if they go back they will not get the great foster parents they initially had.

      It may take some time for them to readjust back into your care,the upheavel has disrupted them .Try and get them back into a normal routine and show guidance and love.

        not always, b/c sadly, many kids are abused in foster care---mentally or physically, or sexually. And many kids were killed in foster care. Just be glad your kids are healthy

          Challenging behaviours in children are often a reflection on their unhappiness, anger and frustration with real or percieved lack of love, care and attention from their parents. Furhtermore, it may well be a reflection on lack of adequate consistency in parenting/care. Don't forget that children tend to model their parents, so if one/both parents use swear words, so do thier children.

              Thanks for nothing Harry. You are obviously a very insensitive bored individual to have answered this question without any helpful insight. Maybe it would be helpful for you to know that my children were returned with an apology that they were unjustly apprehended in the first place, orchestrated by an angry and clever ex who set it up. The children were in my exes care on visitation.
