No. It's not a clear liquid. Have chicken broth.
I think it be pretty messy up there,my though you'd had to fast,
    prior to exam.

Hence the reason for clear liquids. They come out as urine ;)
Actually, you're allowed to have clear liquids, including coffee, diet sodas, and fat-free broths.

I don't think so. Ask your doctor.
Isn't it nil by mouth or fasting for 8 hours before any type of surgery ?
This is advised because you may throw up during surgery and choke, and to keep the stomach settled after the procedure.
No, you can't have crap. :)
If your having a colonoscopy it says EXACELY what you CAN and CAN'T have before the procedure on the paper work the doctors office gave you before hand.
Assuming your having your back end checked tomorrow, hoping to find a sympathetic answer on Q&A won't change whats on that paper.

FOLLOW THE RULES, IT WILL ALL BE OVER BEFORE YOU CAN SAY "OUCH"
A colonoscopy isn't surgery; it's an exloratory procedure. The reason you're not supposed to eat is that your intestines have to be totally cleaned out so the doctor can examine the lining for things like polyps.
