      Sounds like it's not freezing, better have it checked out.

        Maybe the drain tube is clogged-up. 38 years old - might be time for a new one. I don't think repair people can use Freon anymore.

          They can in the states but they have to have a licence.

          if its 38 years old chaces are its not auto defrost and you got probs if it is auto and its hot and humid you may be allright
