DISTANCE VISION: through the upper part of the lens.There is a small amount of soft focus at the edge of the lens.
ARMS LENGH VISION: vision at the arms length is through the middle part of the lens. There is more soft focus at the edges of your vision in this part of your lens.
NEAR VISION: near vision through lower part of lens. there is some soft focus at the edges of your vision in this part of the lens.

He/she asked how do they work? I don't wear glasses and I know nothing about them?LOL
