Have you ever watched the TV series Pumpkin Chunkers? Some of those air cannons will send a pumpkin through the side of a work van and knock the doors open coming out the other side. I forget the distance, but that's not bad considering the ammunition is a vegetable.

Yes, a few times, never the entire show though. It was pretty cool.

Believe it or not Leeroy, they actually had a .50 caliber air rifle along with them, and it is in a museum today. If I hadn't saw the pictures of it, and the source of the information was at all questionable, I would have thought it was a joke. But, they really did have one with them. It probably took them quite awhile to build up enough pressure to make it work...but, it's a fact.
