The other day I was at an intersection waiting for a light to change in Presque Isle, Maine, when I saw some local Amish people come through the intersection with a horse drawn buggy. It made me do a double take watching that horse calmly stride alongside all the cars. It really made me take a second to reflect upon the different times the technologies I was watching came from.
